An exceptional fiber only stays exceptional if it's treated with the same care with which it was chosen. These are the simple rules we follow — and recommend to anyone investing in superior-quality socks.

Washing

Always machine wash at a maximum of 30°C, preferably inside out and in a mesh bag made for delicate laundry. This protects the surface of the fiber from friction with other garments and zippers.

Drying

Avoid the tumble dryer. High heat is the main cause of lost elasticity and knit deformation over time. Always air dry, laid flat whenever possible, to preserve the original shape.

Rotation

Owning several pairs and alternating between them — instead of repeating the same pair on consecutive days — gives the fiber time to recover its natural elasticity between washes, significantly extending its lifespan.

Care specific to each material

  • Sea Island Cotton and Egyptian Cotton — no bleach; air dry, away from direct, prolonged sunlight, which can alter the colour.
  • Extra-Fine Merino Wool — gentle cycle or hand wash, without wringing; lay flat to dry so the fiber doesn't stretch.

The sign you're doing it right

A well-cared-for sock keeps its gentle compression and original colour far beyond what would be expected of an ordinary piece — that's the difference a superior material, combined with proper care, truly makes.
